Dance Festival

Yet another school function. This one is the Dance Festival. Grades K-8 learn a dance and perform it at the end of the year. The dances are based on a time period they studied.

Hailey and the boys (whose names I can't think of right now ;-( ) doing their best to get their grove on doing the charlston.

Dani (in pink shirt) in the group dance. They were "Staying Alive" with the Bee Gee's. It was so fun to watch the little dancers dancing with the big kids.

Dani and her fellow fifth graders danced a Samba. Who knew she could shake it like that ;-)

Trenton and his third grad class did a Chinese Ribbon dance.

Some of the grades do the same dance year after year. Others come up with something new each year. Some kids have rhythm, and some don't ;-) whatever the case may be I enjoy watching them all!!!
