Mike and a few of his friends, (who you might recognize) headed off to Colorado, to embark on an adventure. It included biking, running, and kayaking. Roughly 58 miles to be completed in 12 hours.

Dropping off bikes after a 7.5 mile ride in exchange for running shoes for 8 miles of running.

Finally a chance to give the legs a break and put the arms to the task. 8 miles on the Colorado river.

After another 30 mile bike ride, and 6 more miles on the river, the finish line was in sight. All completed in under 10 hours. (This just blows my mind because at girls camp it took us almost 6 hours to do a 5 mile hike.) How sad is that!?

Curtis Call, Steve Connlee, Mike, and Bill McBee can definitely be proud of themselves. I know I am. I'd be happy just to do one of these legs. This task was even more difficult because the trail was not marked. They had to use maps and compases to get them from one point to the next.
