Running for Student Council

Danielle decided to run for Treasurer at her school. She was running against 5 other students. The students campaigned for three days, and the rest of the school voted on the 4th day.

Dani gave her campaign speech twice. First to the younger grades, and then to the older kids. Sad to say she didn't win. I am so proud of her for at least trying. It takes guts to put yourself out there and do something new. She is a very shy girl, so this made it even harder for her. Especially giving the speech.

Hailey ran for class rep. She didn't have to campaign and give speeches. It was up to the teachers to decide. She got in! Yeah Hailey!!
